Quigley waives extradition hearing

Arthur R. Quigley, 30, has been charged with the murder of Mary C. Dixion of South Shore, Ky. Quigley has waived his right to an extradition hearing and awaiting transport to Kentucky where he will be lodged in the Greenup County Jail to await sentencing.
Quigley was arrested by the Preble County Sheriff’s Office in connection with the murder of Dixion.
According to Russell Police Department, Detective Adam Davis a deceased female was found behind the Hobby Lobby, store in Russell, Ky., on June 29 has been tentatively identified as Dixion.
Dixion had been missing since June 26.
“A criminal investigation was conducted by Russell Police Department with assistance from the Bellefonte, Flatwoods Police Departments, and the Russell Fire Department,” Davis said. “Following an intensive investigation, Arthur R. Quigley, age 30, most recently of Kitts Hill, Ohio was arrested in Eldorado, Ohio by members of the Preble County Sheriff’s Office, accompanied by Detective Adam Davis and Chief Tim Wilson of the Russell Police Department.”
