Two men wearing masks, long-sleeved camouflage shirts, jeans and gloves were caught on video surveillance breaking into a Minford home over the weekend, stealing several guns and other items.

Around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, a Minford man reported someone entered his home while he was gone to church. Deputies viewed security video and saw a white pickup, possibly a Chevrolet, pulled up to the side door of the residence. The men used a crowbar and damaged the stairway door, entered, and took a Remington 870 12-gauge shotgun, valued at $400; a Savage .22 caliber rifle with scope, valued at $100; a double-barrel shotgun, valued at $200; a Mossberg 20-gauge shotgun, valued at $300. In addition, an engine analyzer, valued at $6,000, a coin collection, a box of checks and a savings book.

Deputies said one man was slender built while the other was heavy-set.
