Woodards sing at Temple Baptist


Gospel recording artists Debbie and Kendall Woodard will be singing at 7 p.m. Sunday at Temple Baptist Church, 1148 Gallia Street in Portsmouth.


Second Presbyterian Church


Second Presbyterian Church (8th and Waller) will celebrate Pentecost Sunday with a celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Kelly Raies will be the lay reader and Parker Stone will read Luke’s account of the first outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The service begins at 9:30 a.m. and if followed by a coffee hour and Christian Education for all ages.


Lucasville Community of Christ


The Lucasville Community of Christ, Thomas Hollow Rd., will begin their services on Sunday May 18 with a few minutes of fellowship. Sunday School will begin at 9:45 a.m..


Worship Service begins at 10:30 a.m. with Elder Carolyn Crabtree presiding. The Theme for Sunday is “Come Holy Spirit,” with Elder Lenora Webb presenting the Morning Message.


Wednesday Evening Service - 6 p.m., and the “Adult Night Out” will be on Monday, May 19 at 5:30 p.m.


First Church of Christ


Hoyt Allen of Ironton will be preaching during the 10:30 a.m. and the 6 p.m. worship services Sunday, May 19, at the First Church of Christ, 1224 Dogwood Ridge Road, Wheelersburg. He will also lead the Praise, Prayer and Bible Study at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22.


Members and guests of COLTS will meet for lunch and the monthly meeting at noon Tuesday. May 21, at Ponderosa, Ohio River Road, Wheelersburg.


Randy Wickham, minister, will be leading the song service during revival services Sunday, May 19, through Wednesday, May 22, at the Westwood, Ky. Christian Church.

Rev. Bob and Frances Collins, former missionaries to Brazil will be speaking. An interpreter for the deaf and hard of


hearing is available at all services. We will also take upour Faith Promise pledges.

Temple Baptist Church, corner of Gallia St. Waller Ave. will be hosting Kendall and Debbie Woodard on Sunday, May 19, at 7 p.m.


Central Church of Christ work day

Central Church of Christ will be having a work day on Saturday, May 18, beginning at 8 a.m. All members are being called on to lend a hand for a special project.


Sunday Services include: Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m., Evening Service and Youth Groups at 6:30 p.m. The adult choir will meet on Wednesday, May 22 at 5:30 p.m. for rehearsal.


The Teens Ministry will be hosting a Camp Out on Friday-Saturday, May 24-25 from 4 p.m-10 a.m. See Andy Dawes for more information.


Vacation Bible School is scheduled for June 9th-13th for ages 2 years-6th grade.


High School and College Graduates will be honored on Sunday, June 2.
