When Greenup County Sheriff Keith M. Cooper isn’t busy fighting crime, he is a runner and now he is inviting everyone to the 12th Annual Race Against Drugs 5K Run/Walk, Saturday (May 11) in downtown Greenup, Ky. The race begins at 9 a.m. at the Greenup County Fairgrounds and goes through downtown Greenup and back again.

The registration fee is $15 the day of the race, and checks or money orders can be made to R.A.D. c/o Keith M. Cooper.

Cooper said trophies will be given to overall male and female winners and will be given to the first three finishes in each age group. Medallions will be given to participants 10 and under. There will be no duplication of awards and each participant will receive a T-shirt and a gift bag.

Cooper said all participants will be mailed race results or they can get the results online at www.tristateracer.com.
