Tyler Crace shut out New Boston as Green defeated the Tigers 7-0 Friday.


Grace gave up three hits while stikeing out 10 batters. He also led the Bobcats’ offensive attack going 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs batted in and a run scored.


Green returns home Saturday to host Manchester in a doubleheader.

Trevar Welch led the way as West defeated Valley 5-2 Friday.

Welch went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in and on the mound, he was just as effective with five strikeouts in a complete game effort. Welch held the Indians to two runs on six hits.

Ariel Loop drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to lead East past Symmes Valley 6-5 Friday.

Loop finished the game going 1-for-2 with two RBIs. Jessie Monroe also helped the Tartans’ attack as she went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. East stays home for Monday’s contest with Notre Dame.
