Mother Nature, once again, has spoken and as a result all area baseball and softball games, with the exception on New Boston at Notre Dame baseball have been postponed. The following events have been rescheduled for Thursday.

Notre Dame used a 16-run fourth inning to defeat New Boston 17-3 Wednesday. Jacob Milani recorded the victory for the Titans. Milani had seven strike outs on the mound and he went 3-for-4 with three runs batted in and three runs scored in the winning effort. Notre Dame will play host on Thursday as the Clay Panthers visit.

Shawnee State University
Four members of the Shawnee State baseball team have been named to the Mid-South Conference All-Academic Team. To be eligible for this honor, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
Sophomore Cody Spires earned the honor in his first season eligible for the award. In addition to him, three juniors earned the award in their first semester with the team as Bryan Sharkey, Ryan Queener and Todd Queener were also honored. Sharkey is majoring in Exercise Science while Ryan Queener is majoring in Business and Todd Queener is majoring in Sport Management.
