Alberta Coyle, 82

Alberta Jean Coyle, 82 of Wheelersburg died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at SOMC in Portsmouth. She was born Dec. 5, 1930, in Scioto County, Ohio to the late Charles Wesley Rice and Alma Moore Rice. She was a member of Germany Hollow Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Eugene Coyle.

She is survived by three sons, Chuck Coyle, Jack Coyle and Dean Coyle, two daughters, Connie Dineen and Betty Lowery, two sisters, Nellie McCaw and Louise Wilhelm, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Gary Coyle and Jim Coyle, one daughter, Alma Coyle, one grandson, Shawn Coyle, five brothers, Joseph Rice, Charles Rice, Franklin Rice, Dudley Rice and Wesley Rice and two sisters, Juanita Schneider and Myrtle Thomas.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home with Pastor Merit Smith officiating. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour before the service on Friday.
