Virginia Shaw, 90
Virginia “Jenny” Shaw, 90, of West Portsmouth passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at her home. She was born Feb. 11, 1922, in Scioto County to the late Luther and Alka Caudill Coleman. She was a homemaker, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Along with her parents Jenny was preceded in death by her husband Orville Shaw who she married on Aug. 24, 1940, a son Ronald Eugene Shaw, a brother, a half brother and two sisters.
Virginia is survived by three daughters; Helen Waughtel, Carol Boyd and Joyce Colligan all of West Portsmouth, nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mike Davis officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday starting at 1 p.m. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
