Louise Lust, 89

Louise Lust, 89, of Portsmouth, formerly of Lucasville, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at SOMC in Portsmouth after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born June 1, 1923, in Gallipolis, a daughter of the late Ernie and Stella Provins Hamblin.

Louise was a homemaker who dearly loved her family and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Dona Hall Lust of Lucasville; one son Bob (Joni) Lust of Hamden, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kairee, Derek, and Zach Hall; two great grandsons Jagger and Jett; her former husband Don (Paulette) Lust of Salisbury, N.C.; and one sister Marjorie Mutter of Portsmouth.

She was also preceded in death by six brothers Jack, Leo, Lauren, Lester, Luther, Lloyd Hamblin; two sisters Ruth Casey and Mary Ann Otis.

Funeral Rites will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at the Edgewood Abby Mausoleum in Memorial Burial Park with Father Adam Streitenberger officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
