PDT Sports Report

In Sunday’s end of the year article, a pair of area athletes who made the transition from high school to NCAA Division I college athletics this past year were accidentially ommitted.

Both South Webster graduate Austin Loop and Valley alum Carrie Coriell are applying their skills as walk-on members of Marshall athletics.

Loop, who capped off his high school career with over 1,000 points as one of the Jeeps’ top scorers, is on the Thundering Herd basketball team. Marshall will travel Saturday to Ohio University.

After setting throwing records for the Indians and making a plethora of appearances in the state meet, Coriell will be throwing for the Thundering Herd Track and Field team.

The Daily Times stresses accuracy for all of its articles.
