With Tommy Bolte and Zach Johnson checking in with 19 points each Friday night, visiting Chillicothe left Portsmouth for the final time as a member of the SEOAL with a 58-56 win over the host Trojans.

Jayllen Carter led all scorers with 23 in the loss. Portsmouth clawed back to take a 46-41 lead into the fourth quarter.

The Trojans go to Saturday’s Ironton Classic to face Columbus Brookhaven.
