Kathryn Campbell, 87

Kathryn M. Campbell, 87, of Minford, formerly of Rubyville died Monday Dec. 3, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born Sept. 3, 1925, in Lyra, a daughter of the late Leonard and Grace Akers Johnson. She attended Union Freewill Baptist Church and was a former owner of Campbell’s Market and member of the Porter Grange. Kathryn is survived by two daughters, Vicki Toppins and husband William of Essex Junction, Vt. and Louvenna Collins; a sister, Wilma Lou Coey of Cincinnati; four grandchildren, Christopher Toppins, Milissa Peabody, Rachel Whaley and Rebecca Whaley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Campbell; three brothers, Earl, Virgil and William Johnson and two sisters, Ethel Davis and Mary Millis. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday Dec. 6, 2012, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park.
