Karen Bryan, 59
Karen Sue Bryan, 59, of Florence, Ky., formerly of Wheelersburg, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at home. She was born July 22, 1953, in Ashland, Ky., a daughter of Galen Malone, of Wheelersburg, and the late Charlotte Shore Malone.
She was a Registered Nurse employed by the State of Ohio Dept. of Rehab and Corrections and was a member of the Sciotoville Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband, Harold “Rock” Bryan, of Florence, Ky.; two sons, Harold “Rocky” Bryan, Jr. and Beth Bryan, of Florence, Ky.; Dr. Joshua J. Bryan and Michele Bryan, of Florence, Ky.; one brother, Phillip G. (Tina) Malone, of Cape Coral, Fla.; one sister, Deborah (Terry) Evans, of Wheelersburg; two granddaughters, Charlotte and Katherine and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. The Reverend Eugene Harmon will officiate, with interment at Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service.
