Symmes Valley handed host Notre Dame its first home loss in two years as the Vikings (7-2, 3-1) clinched a playoff berth with a 26-13 win Saturday night in SOC I action.
The last time the Titans (7-2, 1-2) lost a game at Spartan Stadium was Oct. 23, 2010, where Symmes Valley shut out Notre Dame 33-0. Notre Dame needs a home win next Saturday against East and some help to clinch the school’s first playoff berth since 2007.
The Vikings host Buffalo (WV) in Friday’s home finale. An Oak Hill loss to Green gives Symmes Valley a piece of the SOC I title with the Oaks.
