A New Boston man has been arrested and placed in the Greenup County Detention Center. Jeremy C. McGhee, 30, is charged with receiving stolen property after an investigation into several burglaries.

Greenup County, Kentucky Sheriff Keith M. Cooper said on Wednesday Deputy Jason Bryant, along with the South Shore Police solved several burglaries in arresting McGhee. Upon investigation, Bryant said he recovered thousands of dollars in U.S. Savings Bonds and several credit cards taken from an Ohio residence last week. Bryant said he also discovered evidence possibly linking McGhee to several other burglaries in Kentucky and Ohio.

Cooper said the investigation is ongoing in the case.

You can only cash savings bonds by presenting them at a financial institution & you must provide proof of ID at the time. I wonder what he thought he was going to do with them...

This man should be punished to the fullest. He has been in and out of prison. Otherwise he will continue down this path! Make better choices in life. Get a real job like everyone else in Ohio.
