Paul Skaggs, 57

Paul Steven Skaggs, 57, of Sciotoville, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe. Born March 31, 1955 in Phoenix, Arizona, he was a son of Paul and Nannie Bennett Skaggs. Steve was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Berean Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are a son, Paul Steven Skaggs, Jr. of North Carolina, his mother, Nannie Bennett Skaggs of Portsmouth, a brother, James (Margie) Skaggs of Jackson, two grandsons, Chase and Chandler Skaggs and a niece, Aarin McCarthy of Phoenix. A graveside service was held at Vernon Cemetery. Military honors were rendered by the James Dickey Post of the American Legion.
