Richard F. Deaubler, 95, of Columbus, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009.
He was born May 16, 1913, in Lima, Ohio, son of the late Fred and Edith Myers Deaubler. He retired after 35 years as a conductor with the Norfolk and Western Railroad. He was a member of the Hilltop Church of God.
He is survived by his current wife, Laverna. Also surviving are four children from a previous marriage, Jo Richards of Zanesfield, Janet Houser of Casa Grande, Ariz., twins Carl (Lynn) Deaubler of Lucasville and Carol (Mark) Elliott of West Mansfield; grandchildren, Donna, Penny, Stephanie, Will, Natalie, and Mat; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Malia, Arionna, Alissa, Clint, and Kaylyn.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12, at Union Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 3349 Olentangy River Road, Columbus. Pastor George Jordan will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
