Minford remained flawless in its SOC II opener over West taking down the visitors 17-6.
Austin Carter led the Falcons with 75 yards rushing on the night while quarterback Cody Stapleton compiled 163 yards through the air on seven completions.
West’s Austin Bricker had 84 yards rushing while Justin Crace added 61 yards on 16 carries.
West will host Valley in a rematch of last year’s determining SOC II game while Minford will host Nortwest.

Eddie Miller’s season-long trait of passing efficiency continued with a 10-12 night from under center. He threw for 201 yards and ran for another 25.
Wheelersburg will travel to Waverly next week while Northwest will host undefeated Minford.
