The landscape of the latest Associated Press Ohio high school football team changed yet again Monday as two top teams fell from the rank of the unbeatens and were replaced from their spots in the polls.

In Division III, Chagrin Falls fell to Chagrin Falls Kenston 28-17 while Division VI power Maria Stein Marion local lost 24-14 to Versailles. They were replaced by Alliance Marlington (Division III) and Mogadore (Division VI).

Locally, Ironton maintained its position as the fourth-ranked team in Division IV after the Fighting Tigers won last week 61-34 at Portsmouth, improving their mark to 5-0. Ironton, which received a first-place vote, travels this weekend to Paintsville (Ky.) Johnson Central.

A week after being left off the polls completely, Valley returns to the honorable mention list in Division V at 13th after the Indians improved to 5-0 after they dismantled South Point 61-19. Valley starts defense of its SOC II crown this week when Waverly comes into town.

The other top teams in the state are Cleveland St. Ignatius (Division I), Toledo Central Catholic (Division II, Columbus Bishop Hartley (Division IV) and Coldwater (Division V). Locally, the Scioto Valley Conference starts its third week of conference play while both divisions of the Southern Ohio Conference and the Southeastern Ohio Athletic League begin fights for who will claim their respective conference crowns.
