PDT Sports Report

For the second time in as many weeks, Dayton Jefferson knocked off an SOC I team.

Although it took two days to complete, the host Broncos defeated East 34-18. The game was slated for Friday night but lightning strikes forced the contest to be completed Saturday.

Justin Crager accounted for all three Tartan touchdowns. He recovered a fumble in the first quarter to tie the game at 6-6. He also accounted for touchdown runs of 18 and 10 yards in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 18-18.

East (3-2) returns to action Friday as SOC I action starts with a home contest against Oak Hill.

Information from the Dayton Daily News contributed to the report.
