Three Symmes Valley running backs finished with over 150 yards rushing as the host Vikings dismissed Southern 62-18 in Friday’s nonleague action.

DJ Miller led all rushers with 192 carries on eight carries. He had touchdown rushes of 77 and 41 yards as well as an 88-yard punt return in the first quarter.

Alec Herrell chipped in with 146 yards on seven rushing attempts and Quinton Bare also had 146 yards but on three less totes than Herrell.

Symmes Valley opens SOC I play next week when the Vikings, the defending division champions, travel to Franklin Furnace to face Green.
