Dannie Junior Keaton, 83

Dannie Junior Keaton, 83, of South Webster went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth.

He was born Aug. 2, 1929, on Candy Run, a son of the late Dannie Keaton Sr. and Dora Blevins Keaton. He was a laborer who worked in the Timber Industry

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Keaton, one grandchild, Christopher, two brothers, and three sisters.

He is survived by four sons, Jeff (Patty) Keaton, Dale (Dora) Keaton, Allen Keaton and Dannie Keaton III; six daughters, Loretta (Rocky) Sheets, Mattie Ward, Rebecca (Jeff) Andre’, Charlene Barnett, Robin (Willard) Buckler, and Gail Hughes; two brothers, Willie (May) Keeton and Mick (Ann) Keeton; four sisters, Dorothy Grayson, Juanita Brown, Coralou (Jimmie) Washborn and Janet Wallice; 24 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at the Davis Funeral Home in South Webster with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans and Pastor Brian Bear officiating and interement in South Webster Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. and until the time of the services at 2 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to the family @ www.davisfuneral.net
