Betty Bradley, 76

Betty Bradley, 76, of Wheelersburg, went to be with her Lord on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. She was born March 14, 1936 in Vanceburg, Ky. to Lafe and Ethel (Ervin) Walters. She was a longtime member of Antioch Freewill Baptist Church. Betty worked for many years at the Williams Shoe Factory. She was also a working farm wife who enjoyed sewing, canning, was a fabulous baker, and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, Larry Bradley of Chillicothe; three sisters, Emma (Marvin) Knapp, Pauline (James) Lewis, Deloris (Ervin) Howard; four brothers, Robert (Jane) Walters, Joseph (Phyllis) Walters, Preston (Bernice) Walters, James (Judy) Walters; one brother-in-law, Sam (Anita) Bradley of Portsmouth; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ken; four brothers, Harry, Dan, Willy, and Henry Walters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Rick Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to Heartland Hospice.
