Valley recovered from a opening drive touchdown from Coal Grove to notch a 34-18 win over the visitors.
Nick Arnett shared some of the offensive production with his teammates, but still rushed for 51 yards and produced four touchdowns for the Indians. One of his scores came on a 52-yard interception return.
Will Howard also rushed for 74 yards while teammate Matt Rowlins added 60 yards on a three carries.
Valley’s record is now 3-0. They will be hosting Chesepeake at Home next Friday.

Minford tops Piketon 19-14
In a battle of two, evenly matched opponents, Minford traveled to Piketon and came away 19-14 winners.
Sean Berry started the scoring for the Falcons but Isac Brabson answered with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Evan Ferguson for Piketon a minute later.
The Redstreaks went ahead on a Brabson rushing touchdown in the third quarter but Minford closed out the final quarter with a Zach Justice touchdown run and a Cody Stapleton touchdown to win it.
Minford moves to 3-0 while Piketon drops to 2-1. The Falcons will host Portsmouth while Piketon will host Westfall next week.

Chillicothe Huntington handles Northwest 39-6
Northwest traveled to Chillicothe Huntington Friday night looking for their first win of 2012 but returned to McDermott empty-handed after a 39-6 loss.
Trevan Bazler led the Mohawks with 56 yards rushing while teammate Tylor Slack had 44 yards on the ground.
Northwest falls to 0-3 and will play at Notre Dame next week.

Waverly is likely ready to turn the page on Friday’s results as the Tigers were put away by visiting Mt. Orab Western Brown.
It took until late in the first quarter for the Broncos to set off their offensive fireworks, but a touchdown pass was the start of 44 unanswered points by Western Brown.
The Tigers’ lone score came on a 2-yard run by Amin Gilbert with six minutes remaining in the game.
“The kids hung in there but just couldn’t match their speed,” Waverly coach Rusty Wright said.
Waverly falls to 0-3 and will travel to Alexander next week.
