Two men arrested in a West Portsmouth garage are facing drug charges.
Michael E. Locher, 30, of 1328 Main St., West Portsmouth was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Portsmouth Municipal Court for illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a felony of the third degree, and an additional charge of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree.
Roger R. Stevens, Jr., 35, of 485 U.S. 52., Stout, is charged with two counts of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree.
Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said on Friday at approximately 1:51 p.m. detectives from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office Investigations and Narcotics Units arrested Locher on the outstanding warrant.
The sheriff’s report said at the time of his arrest, Locher was also allegedly found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and was charged with possession of drugs.
At the time of the arrests, detectives said Stevens was allegedly found to be in possession of oxycodone pills and suspected methamphetamine.
The garage where the arrests were made is located at 1341 Main St., West Portsmouth, and the two were transported to the Scioto County Jail.
Holders from the Scioto County Common Pleas Court Probation Department were placed on both subjects.
