Joe Lee Travis, 62, of Hunting Run Road, Lucasville, Ohio, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio.

She was born Jan. 10, 1947, at Rushtown, Ohio, daughter of the late Mount B. Osborne and Evelyn Sagraves. On April 23, 1995, Joe was united in marriage to James Harold Travis who survives.

Also surviving are three children, Ronda Brady of Lucasville, Candy Copas of Piketon, Ohio, and Waylon Carnley of Lucasville; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three sisters, Georgia Owens and husband Gary of South Charleston, Ohio, Judy Sypolt and husband Ottie of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Brenda Bowen of London, Ohio, all survive.

In addition to her parents, a brother, Lowell Osborne, preceded Joe in death.

Joe was a retired school bus driver for Eastern Local Schools in Pike County and a member of the Ohio Archeologist in Portsmouth.

There is no service or visitation scheduled.

Arrangements are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly.
