Susan G. Thieken, 51, of Longs, S.C., formerly of Portsmouth, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at home. Born Nov. 15, 1957, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Leona Philips Geary. Surviving are her husband, Chuck Thieken, a son Justin Piatt of Longs, S.C.; and two brothers, Bill Geary of Columbus and Jeff Geary of Portsmouth.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Brant Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Rev. Peter Michael officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
