Gerald K. Sleighter, 86
Gerald Keith Sleighter, 86, of Huntington, a former Minford area resident, died Friday, July 27, 2012 at Woodlands Retirement Community in Huntington. Born November 4, 1925 in Scottsdale, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Joseph Elwood and Iva Pearl Hellein Sleighter, he was retired from Goodyear Atomic Plant and was a World War II Navy veteran. He is survived by one daughter, Susan C. Cain of North Versailles, Pennsylvania.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Sleighter on May 21, 2012 and a brother, George Elwood Sleighter. No services are planned at this time.
