Inez Logan, 86

Inez Delores Logan, 86, of Portsmouth, died Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Hempstead Manor. She was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late William Henry and Betty E. Pernell Austin. Inez dedicated her life to fostering many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and friends and she will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homard E. Logan; a daughter, Brenda Kay Logan; and several brothers, sisters, foster and step-children. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Don Hammonds officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park.
