Some $10,000 in jewelry was stolen from a residence on Woodcrest Drive in Wheelersburg.

According to a report at the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, someone took a three-carat gold and diamond tennis bracelet, valued at $5,000; a diamond and yellow gold cocktail ring, valued at $1,200; a man’s gold ring with a one-third carat diamond, valued at $1,000 and a barrel necklace, valued at $800.

The items were reported missing Friday, but the items could have been stolen earlier when the family reportedly found some cash missing from the home.
