On the heel of the wind storm that caused considerable destruction, more inclement weather is headed to the southern Ohio area.

“This unsettled weather pattern is going to continue,” Executive Director of the Scioto County Emergency Management Agency Kim Carver said. “We have another low pressure system that is going to move through on Saturday. It’s probably going to switch off as it brings some warm air in on the front side of that to rain then back to snow on the back side of that as it moves off and draws the cold air back in.”

Carver said there will be a reprieve in the weather on Monday and Tuesday, but the good weather will be short-lived.

“Wednesday another low pressure system is going to come through again, so it seems like the unsettled weather pattern is going to be here for at least a good part of February,” Carver said.
