NEW BOSTON — A woman was arrested Thursday afternoon for allegedly selling crack cocaine from her home in New Boston.

According to New Boston Police Capt. Steve Goins, his department executed a search warrant at 3830 Rhodes Ave., in New Boston, at 5:31 p.m. on July 5, after an investigation revealed that resident Latasha Bailey, age 26, had been selling crack cocaine from her house.

After the search, Bailey was arrested on scene and charged with three counts of trafficking in crack cocaine. She was transported to New Boston Police Department for booking and later taken to the Scioto County Jail. She will appear at Portsmouth Municipal Court.

If any citizen has information about this case or other possible persons involved in this case with Latasha Bailey, Goins asks that they call him at the New Boston Police Department at 740-456-4109.

Anyone wishing to report drug dealing or crimes being committed within the village can call the New Boston Police Drug and Crime Hotline at 740-456-4144 and you do not have to give your name.
