Elmer Faulkner, Jr. 78

Elmer Eugene Faulkner, Jr. age 78 of Scioto Furnace died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice. He was born August 30, 1933 to the late Elmer Ulysses (Dan) Faulkner and Avanelle Smith Faulkner. He was a Korean War Navy veteran. He was a retired pipefitter welder for N&S Railroad and a self-employed Drywall Contractor.

He is survived by two sons, Rick (Dolores) Faulkner and Patrick (Jill) Faulkner, one brother, Alfred (Joyce) Faulkner, one sister Rose Ann (Cliff) Firestone and four grandchildren, Erin Elizabeth Faulkner, Ericka Lee Faulkner, Alisha Renee Faulkner and Zane Edward Faulkner. Elmer is also survived by a very special friend Shelly and her son Ryan.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Burial will be in Scioto Furnace Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and one hour before the services on Saturday.
