Mary Lou Wise 84

Mary Lou Wise, 84, of Portsmouth died Monday, July 2, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice. She was born July 8, 1927, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Wallace Duncan and Della Covert Duncan. She was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and a former fancy stitcher for Williams Shoe Factory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Oliver Wise on Jan. 3, 1982. They were married July 4, 1951, in Portsmouth, Ohio.

She is survived by one daughter Donna (Rick) Winebrenner, four brothers, George Duncan, Homer Duncan, Guy Duncan and Terry Duncan and one sister, Lola Evans.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Duncan, Danny Duncan and Ray Duncan.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, July 5, 2012, at 7 p.m. at the Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Coriell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
