County Work Schedule
Craig J. Opperman P.E., Scioto County Engineer, announced the work schedule for the week of July 2 through July 6, 2012, for his office.
Installing Concrete Box Culvert
Lick Run-Lyra Road– CR-2 at the 13.30 mile marker in Bloom Township will be closed Monday, July 2 - through Tuesday, July 3, both day and night. The location of the closure is between Great Meadow Road and Pine Creek Road being 0.30 mile from Great Meadow Road and 0.40 mile from Pine Creek Road. County Engineer’s Crews will be installing a concrete box culvert.
Guardrail Installation
Lake Erie Construction Company will be installing guardrail on CR-12 – Bennett School House-South Webster Road in Bloom and Harrison Townships beginning Monday, July 2. Traffic will be maintained.

Duck Run Road in Rush Township
Pollock Road in Rush and Union Townships
Dutch Ridge Road and Swauger Valley Road in Harrison Township
West Portsmouth Sports Complex Yard Sale July 7
The Portsmouth West Sports Complex will be holding a community yard sale on July 7 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Portsmouth West Sports Complex located on 13 th Street in West Portsmouth. Any items needing to be picked up for donation please call 740-456-7255
Community Fundraiser for Shawnee Mental Health
July 9 - 14, 2012 – 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Location – Bob Evans, 1314 Gay Street (Route 23 North), Portsmouth. Bob Evans will donate 15% of sales when you present the flyer. Flyers will be available in the foyer at Shawnee Mental Health Center.
