FRANKLIN FURNACE — Frontier Communications General Manager Dave George announced Tuesday the company is extending broadband service to more than 700 households in Franklin Furnace. The new service, he said, will be available within the next 30 days.
“Frontier continues to expand its broadband service across Ohio, and that means more Green Township and Scioto County residents now have an opportunity to connect to a world of information,” George said. “Households in Franklin Furnace will soon be able to access online educational, health, financial and entertainment services.”
George said customers will have an opportunity to bundle broadband service with telephone and DISH Network television services. Entrepreneurs, he said, can use Frontier’s broadband service to broaden their markets and build their businesses.
“Frontier’s broadband service can be a valuable tool for business owners who want to serve customers across the state, nation or world,” he said.
