Tri-State Junior Golf Tour continues

PDT Sports Report

The Tri-State Junior Golf Tour held its second tournament of the season Thursday at Ironton Country Club.

Each flight was scored separately with a winner named for each.

Kadin Ashley of the first flight of the 16 to 18-year-old division was the overall low scorer with a 76.

In the 10 to 12-year-old division, Zach Sarver had the low score of 45 through nine holes.

In the 13 to 15-year-old division, Derrick Lemley had the lowest score of the two flights with an 82.

On June 22, the tour goes to Sugarwood Golf Club in Lavalette, W.Va. and on June 25 the tour gets local at the Elks. Shawnee State Park Golf Course hosts the tour July 5 before it travels to Bellefonte Country Club in Ashland on July 9. The tour then visits Twin Solos in Lavalette on July 17 and wraps up at Guyan Golf and Country Club on July 27.
