Mildred M. Fletcher, 87, of Portsmouth, formerly of Minford, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at Heartland of Portsmouth. Born April 14, 1921, in Portsmouth, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Fletcher, and four great-grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Howard of Lucasville; and one son, Richard (Michelle) Adkins of Lancaster, Pa.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Joey Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Lucasville Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday before the funeral.
