Ruby Stone, 85

Ruby Faye Stone age 85 of Minford died Friday, June 8, 2012 at Minford Retirement Center. She was born November 29, 1926 in Elliott County, Kentucky to the late Emmit Whitt and Josia Fraley Whitt. She was a former Nurses Aid for Mercy Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stone in 1968.

She is survived by one son, Ronald (Charlotte) Stone, one daughter, Linda (Jim) Stulley, two sisters, Effie Gin and Alma Atkins, six grandchildren, Shane Bradley, Scott Bradley, Chris Fraley, Donnie Andre, Ronne Jr. Stone and J.R. Stone and four great grandchildren, Lucas, Lathan, Evan and Logan.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Andre and Joyce Scott, one sister, Edna Midadulf and three brothers, Junior Whitt, Olaf Whitt and Edgar Whitt.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour before the services on Tuesday.
