Willis and Sharon Howard will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 26. Willis is the son of the late Woodrow and Garnet Howard. Sharon is the daughter of the late Betty (Setters) Foster. They were married May 26, 1962, in West Portsmouth by the late Rev. Carl Swords. The Howards have two children, Bev (Bart) Evans and Brian (Heather) Howard; four grandchildren, Zach (Beth) Evans, Kayla (Alex) Bloomfield, Bobbie Jo Howard, Charlie Jo Howard; and four great-grandchildren, Trent, Ariana, Zane and Clay; and special nephew Carl (Mary) Howard.
