A Wheelersburg man is charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a fatal crash, after turning himself in to the Portsmouth Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol on Tuesday morning. Jeremy J. White, 37, was the alleged driver of a 2003 Dodge Durango that struck a four-wheeler, operated by Jacob Dillow, 23, also of Wheelersburg on Tick Ridge Road in Harrison Township, Sunday night.
Post Commander Karla Taulbee said White had fled the scene on foot.
As investigators were identifying the driver of the truck Tuesday morning, they received a call White would turn himself in. Taulbee said White is not the owner of the truck.
He was placed in the Scioto County Jail.
