Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said detectives from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Troy A. Munion, 28, of 2030 Ohio 139, Portsmouth, about 10:30 a.m. Thursday on a warrant to arrest on indictment issued by the Scioto County Common Pleas Court.
According to Donini, the indictment warrant had been sought by members of the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force and the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office when a case against Munion had been presented to a Scioto County grand jury after Munion and Crystal S. The indictment against Munion consists of four counts of felony drug offenses to include illegal manufacture of methamphetamine within the vicinity of a juvenile, conspiracy to trafficking in methamphetamine, illegal assembly and /or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine and trafficking in methamphetamine.
Munion was placed in the Scioto County Jail and is being held without bond pending an arraignment in Scioto County Common Pleas Court.
