Debbie Bunovsky wrote: Lots of great memories! My uncle, Pat Mitchell, was a lifeguard there for years. I remember the first time I ever jumped off the high dive. I was 5 years old. My Dad was waiting for me when I went into the water and I doggie paddled over to him. After that, I was enrolled in Red Cross swimming lessons. Also, many great memories spending the summers there with friends.

Jane Tovine Davis wrote: My brothers and sisters spent all summer long here in the 60’s. I learned to swim here, and almost drowned here as well. I was saved by a girl after I thought I could swim out to the 2nd pier after eating a candy bar. Thank you to that girl, if you are out there reading this!
James Bergman wrote: I remember playing pier tag there. Why did they ever tear this up? Even a South Shore boy enjoyed it there!!!
