Doris Chamblin, 80, died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Hempstead Manor. She was born December 13, 1931, at Portsmouth the daughter of the late Roy and Flossie Burnheimer.
Doris was a member of Calvery Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Chamblin; one sister, Mildred Burnheimer and one brother, Ernest Burnheimer.
Surviving is one daughter, Carol (William) Fannin; one stepdaughter, Faye Stump; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Melcher Funeral Home with Dennis Dawes officiating. Burial will at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in West Union, Ohio. Friends may call at Melcher Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
