The 50th wedding anniversary celebration for Bob and Margie Moore of Quincy, Ky., will be held on Saturday, April 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Bivens Chapel Church fellowship hall, at 4411 Kinney Road, Garrison, Ky. The reception will be hosted by their sons.
Mr. and Mrs. Moore were married April 21, 1962, at National Gardens Baptist Church in Falls Church, Va. They are the parents of three sons, Kevin of South Shore, Ky., Craig of Columbus, Ohio, and Barry of Quincy. Bob Moore retired from the Carpenters Union Local 472 and Margie Moore worked for National City Bank for 15 years, and retired from the Lewis Co. Public Library as bookmobile librarian. In lieu of gifts Mr. and Mrs. Moore are requesting the presence of family and friends.
