Norris “Cudie” Adams, 80, of McDermott, Ohio, died March 14, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born November 9, 1931, in Hillsboro, Ohio, to the late Earl C. Adams and Elvarda Hoop Adams. He was a buzzer for Waller Brothers, retiring in 1983. He was a musician, known for his love of guitar playing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, James Adams; and three sisters, Catherine Adams, Margene Jamison and Della Thacker.

He is survived by his wife, Adelene Rhoden Adams, whom he married December 7, 1951, in Sciotoville, Ohio; one daughter, Teresa (Timothy) Gilbert of McDermott; two grandchildren, Jason Blair and Kristen Blair; three great-grandchildren, Abbie Blair, Gunner Blair and Jacob Dace; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2012, at Mt. Joy Cemetery, Rarden, Ohio, with Pastor George Vastine officiating. There will be no visitation.

Arrangements are under the direction of F.C. Daehler Mortuary Company in Portsmouth.
