In its 70th year, the All-County Music Festival was again a wonderful experience. As a teen, I participated in this event — three years in the band and one in the chorus. It is a great experience. This year, I watched and listened to my daughter and her classmates from Wheelersburg share their talents with those across the county. The arts are such an important part of a well-rounded education and I’m proud to live in a school district and county that continues to foster these events as part of the learning environment. Thank you to all of our music instructors, school administrators and Sherry Price for keeping the arts alive in Scioto County! And thank you to our students who did a fantastic job!
