Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will impart restrictions on Ohio 139 in Scioto County next week for a slip repair project.
On Monday, March 5, crews from Complete General Construction will close S.R. 139 at its 0.14-mile marker, between its junction with U.S. Route 52 and Pine Street in the village of New Boston. The closure will be in effect for up to 180 days, and while it is closed, motorists will be detoured via U.S. 52 and S.R. 335.
Complete General Construction of Columbus was awarded a contract in the amount of about $1.6 million to repair the slip, and although major construction should be completed by early fall, the entire project is anticipated to be completed by late November.
