The Shawnee State University Athletic Hall of Fame is proud to induct basketball standout Brandi Munn into the Class of 2012. The ceremony will take place Feb. 10 and kick off the Shawnee State Homecoming festivities.

A 1999 graduate, Brandi Munn excelled on the hardwood from 1995-1999. She completed her career ranking seventh on the Bears’ all-time roster with 1,139 points. She was a three-time all-conference honoree and was also named Second Team NAIA All-Tournament Team as a senior as she helped the Bears capture the 1999 National Championship. She led the team in assists for three years.

Munn graduated from Shawnee State with a degree in Sports Management. She went on and received a master’s degree from Ohio University in Athletic Administration.

After completing her masters Munn took the position of Assistant Coach at NCAA Division III Hartwick College in New York for one year before deciding to become a basketball official.

She currently resides in Florida and is in her seventh year of officiating. She officiates one NCAA Division I conference, two Division II conferences, two NAIA conferences, three Junior Colleges in addition to the high school level.

The Shawnee State Hall of Fame Dinner and induction ceremony will take place Feb. 10 in the Sodexho Ballroom. Details about the dinner will be released at a later time.
