Are you looking for a way to shop for unique Christmas gifts while still supporting the local area? The Holiday Inn in Portsmouth is hosting a Christmas Shopping Extravaganza on Nov. 26, with local vendors selling their products.

The event is coordinated by the Holiday Inn and Brenda and Becky Hill of Waverly. The mother-daughter Hills are local sellers for Park Lane Jewelry and were looking for a way to sell their product and support other local vendors around the area.

“We have Park Lane Jewelry. We have Scentsy Candles. We have woodcrafters, and we have a lady coming from Mary Kay. We have 31 Purses. We’re trying to get a variety of vendors. We also have a fellow there from the Portsmouth area, and a lot of the vendors are from Portsmouth, but he’s coming with T-shirts that he can put things on right there on the spot,” Brenda Hill said.

Hill and her daughter, Becky, are fashion directors for Park Lane Jewelry.

“We buy our jewelry and take orders and then we sell it. The thing with Park Lane is they have wonderful customer bonus programs that offer extra pieces for lower prices. They also have a lifetime guarantee on all the jewelry, regardless what happens. We think that makes it an awesome special, when you can have a piece of jewelry for five years and then return it because it broke, no questions asked,” Brenda said.

Local vendors interested in registering to setup a table at the event should contact Becky Hill, at 740-708-3721. Each table costs $30 to set up, and the Christmas Shopping Extravaganza is Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Portsmouth.

“We hope everyone can come out and do some Christmas shopping, and support their local vendors,” Brenda said.
